What does it mean 'to heal'?

What does it mean to heal? Or perhaps I should say what does the healing process involve, invite, initiate, trigger, in order to become ‘healing’, in order to feel and be resolved about an event in your life?

Perhaps the question should be – what is stopping you from resolving something that you carry within you, a challenge, a memory, a feeling, a thought, a perspective, a ‘whatever else’ that may be plaguing you. And I say plaguing you, for these feelings and thoughts can plague a person.

 

So, I come back to, what does it mean to heal? 

Is healing something that perhaps needs to be in congruence with you? For if you do not make that initial decision that you, yes you, DESERVE to be healed, allow yourself to heal from whatever it is you carry inside of you, then how could you possible start your healing journey?

Or is healing something that seems just silly, stupid to you. Perhaps the English ‘stiff upper lip’ syndrome is an appealing way to deal with things……..

Of course there I always the denial within oneself – "I don’t need any healing, this is all 'hokery pokery' and anyway, if I just don’t think about things then they will go away eventually."

 

Hmm, will they though?

 

I am Tesi, a clinical hypnotherapist with a passion to help others that need, and want, and are ready for healing. 

But why is healing, the act of healing, perhaps even the word healing such a stigma? A stigma within society, a stigma within oneself even? 

Don’t we all need a bit of healing at times? 

Healing from a moment where we felt upset. 

Healing from a situation that we found difficult to understand. 

Healing from an event that continues to play in our minds, going round and round and round – even if it has been pushed to the furthest and deepest reaches of our conscious and subconscious mind.

 

My question is, what is stopping you from allowing yourself to explore healing a moment in time. 

What is stopping you from allowing another person from helping you see through the windows of perspectives that are there but need another skilled person to point out to you. 

What is stopping you from saying to yourself - "It’s ok to heal, I am ok to allow myself to heal."

What is stopping you from loving yourself enough to be open to accept professional and compassionate guidance that encourages you to let go of all the things that do not serve you, all the things that you carry within yourself that weigh you down, all the things that, simply put, may be hidden in the back of your mind, but still manage to put barriers into your everyday life. 

 

What is stopping you from healing a moment in time? 

And when will you stop it being a hinderance and allow for healing to be embraced – so your healing can transcend your moments in time, and open up new paths of possibilities, new perspectives. 

 

When will your healing a moment in time be? 

Perhaps now?
