The Soul's quest for Authenticity and Purpose - a channelled session with my Guides (31/11/2025)
Good morning my Guides. I was wondering….
What is authenticity in general, but also, what does it mean being authentic to oneself - in terms of a soul development on earth?
Becoming my authentic self – it is a lives journey to become your authentic self. However, within a life, being authentic is different.
Let us explain. Perhaps lets us start what and how the word authentic, authenticity, authenticator – what does it all mean from a human perspective to start off with.
From a human perspective authentic simply means – is it real? Perhaps is it true? Is it honest, does it have alternative motives? And we have discussed reality extensively in the latest book.
(My new book: “The Reality of Realness” – due to be published in February 2026)
Is authenticity our journey within the reality of our perception of a moment in time?
To a certain degree yes. For what we perceive is a moment, and if that moment resonates with us at that time, meaning that we believe it to be true within us and without, as in outside of us, then this makes a moment authentic.
Authenticity is fuelled by the state of mind a person, a human is, at a moment in time. What one may find authentic is not and will not be the same as another person feeling and believing something is authentic.
But for the soul, authenticity is the seeking of understanding and balance. The internal equilibrium that fuels our purpose, our seeking, our learning. So therefore, authenticity is related in a sense to the seeing of all there is. And in human form this seeing is limited, partial, as well as under the influence of the ego. For both distort the authenticity of something, someone, and ourselves in a sense.
But this is a purposeful way of learning. As it allows us to gain a different perspective, a different view of a matter, and this in turn fuels our need for learning expansion, so to say.
A lot of humans ask “What is my purpose?” How can a human find their purpose, or see their purpose, pursue their purpose, realise their purpose perhaps?
The purpose is the moment you seek – at any given moment – whereby you seek understanding, clarity of something. And the understanding and clarity becomes the purpose of your purpose in a sense. It fuels it.
The Guides have often spoken about purpose, The Guide Eevelyn has mentioned that she has a new name, reflecting a differing purpose. But that she still goes under the name of Eevelyn when she speaks to you. This is her purpose with you, as well as a seeking to learn and understand from your journey of seeking knowledge.
But, she has other purposes that she wishes to see, to follow up, to understand, to walk. As we continue to learn and progress. So, this need fuels her other purposes in a sense.
But the same can be done in human form surely. For many humans have many interests, and these interests fuel a purpose, and this purpose is the learning of and about their interest. Which in a sense strengthens the authenticity of a moment, allows it to become more real, as understanding is gained, and as the perspective towards this moment is fuelled by the growing understanding.
So, authenticity goes hand in hand with realness, and this goes hand in hand with the growth of understanding, which goes hand in hand with the choosing of a purpose, which goes hand in hand with the need and want to gain a greater understanding of something, someone, a matter, a moment, a theme, and aspect. Whatever you wish it to be.
To summarise, purpose is the need to gain a greater understanding about something. And this equally fuels the purpose. Purpose fuels the need, and the need fuels the purpose.
And within that, the experience, the moment, which is fuelled by our need to understand something (within our quest for purpose), this is the moment of reality and authenticity that we explore and experience.
